- Work with the Mississippi Governor and Legislature to appoint Alliance board members to State boards and agencies dealing with end of life care issues
- Maintain the Mississippi Hospice Moratorium
- Monitor opioid regulatory changes
- Lobby State Legislators and policy makers in Mississippi
- Track legislation affecting end of life care
- Increase awareness of services provided by hospice and palliative care providers
- Raise funds for advocacy efforts
