Louisiana Family Caregiver Act

Senate Bill 376 helps support seniors and their family caregivers.  The bill does this by naming a family caregiver when a loved one is admitted into a hospital, the caregiver is notified if the patient is discharged or transferred to another facility and the facility must provide instruction of the medical tasks the caregiver is to perform.
